Public Events & Programs
When you attend a United Ministries event, please be aware that photos, videos, and audio recordings may be taken during the course of the event.
By being present, you are giving United Ministries permission to capture your image, voice, and name on camera or recording, and to use those recordings now or in the future for things like promotional materials, social media, our website, press coverage, and other communications that support our mission.
By entering, you are also giving up any rights to review or approve how these materials are used, and you agree not to hold United Ministries responsible for any use of these recordings. This includes any claims related to privacy, publicity, defamation, copyright, or payment for use.
We rely on this permission to document and share our work. If you prefer not to be recorded or photographed, we kindly ask that contact development@united-ministries.org to opt out. While we cannot ensure that photos will not be taken of you, if you opt-out we will ensure that images of your likeness will be blurred, altered, or not used for any purpose.
Participants Receiving Services
Please note: The above policy does not apply to participants engaged in services or programming with United Ministries.
Participants will always be informed of media presence and asked to sign a consent waiver or opt-out of the specific situation wherein photo/video is taken. Participants will always be made aware before photos/video are taken with the option to opt-out in all situations.
If participants opt-out we cannot guarantee their likeness will not be captured at the time of the event, but we will ensure that any and all images are promptly deleted and not used for any purpose.
