We welcome volunteers of all ages!

United Ministries is seeking assistance with:

  • Staffing reception area and answering phones
  • Sorting, organizing, and collecting non-perishable food items (Food Pantry)
  • Interviewing participants in Emergency Assistance (training provided)
  • Locating employment opportunities for Striving to Thrive¬†participants
  • Teaching and/or Tutoring in the Adult Education program
  • Meeting participant needs at Place of Hope
  • Special Events (such as our annual luncheon)
  • Hold a Food Drive in your organization
  • Identifying affordable housing

Volunteer Application

To become a volunteer, complete our Prospective Volunteer Profile Form below (must be 18 years of age or older to become a regular volunteer). First-time volunteers must attend an orientation workshop (usually held on Wednesday mornings at our main offices). Still have questions? Please email our Volunteer Manager.
