United Ministries believes that volunteers are our strength. Volunteers allow us increase our capacity to provide services to those in need. Explore the opportunities below, and envision the changes you can personally bring to your community.

We welcome volunteers of all ages!

United Ministries is currently seeking assistance with:

  • Staffing reception area/answering phones
  • Sorting, organizing, and collecting nonperishable food items (Food Pantry)
  • Interviewing participants in Emergency Assistance (training provided)
  • Locating employment opportunities for Employment Readiness participants
  • Teaching and/or Tutoring in the Adult Education program
  • Meeting participant needs at Place of Hope
  • Special Events
  • Hold a Food Drive (Info for Businesses and Info for Students/ Schools)
  • Hosting homeless families within your church
  • Identifying affordable housing

Volunteer Application

To become a volunteer, complete our Prospective Volunteer Profile Form below (must be 18 years of age or older to become a regular volunteer). First-time volunteers must attend an orientation workshop (usually held on Wednesday mornings at our main offices).
